Stolen away by a free spirited gypsy as a child {though she still swears she’s my mother} I spent my childhood roaming the countryside, meeting fascinating characters and having amazing adventures. Being the perpetual new kid, my friends, more often than not, were found between the pages of a book, and my own imagination.

I read everything I could get my hands on, from Dick and Jane to Shakespeare, and then, at age eleven, I read my first romance. I’ve been hooked ever since.

I’ve been a nurse, a lead singer in several bands, a published lyricist, and I went to university to study Mythology and Anthropology, my second and third greatest passions. My first greatest passion is my husband. The best friend I have ever had who turned out to be my soul mate. Talk about a plot twist.

I’ve spent a lifetime and several career changes saying, “Someday I’m going to write one of those romances.” Until one day my husband said, “So do it.” And I did. Now I can’t imagine doing anything else.
