Is it my turn?

By Loribelle Hunt | July 10, 2008

Is it me or does Thursday just keep coming faster every week? Crys emailed a few days ago saying this week’s theme is easy! Um. Right. It would be easy if I weren’t so busy trying to get everything done before Nationals that I just haven’t been reading much. I know. Bad writer. No cookie. Anyway, these are the last three I finished from my towering tbr pile. :)

Daggar-Star by Elizabeth Vaughn. I really enjoyed Warprize so I was prepared to like this one. It’s third, multi-pov which I prefer over her previous first person and fantasy romance. I wasn’t blown away, but I liked it and it went on the keeper shelf.

In Twilight’s Shadow by Patti O’Shea. Ok, I admit I haven’t read Patti O’Shea before. I picked this up because she’s with an agent I’m interested in and I wanted to compare styles of that agent’s writers. Really liked it. Now I’ve got to go find her older stuff.

Hot Nights, Dark Desires by Eden Bradley, Sydney Croft, and Stephanie Tyler. Besides the fact our most awesome Diva friend Eden is one of the writers, I’ll give you one guess why I had to read this one. Yep. You got it. Tattoos! And tattoo artists. And tattoo fetishes. Yummm. I loved all three of the stories, but Eden’s stands out and I know it’s a story I’ll go back and re-read over and over again.

So those are mine. What else should I read?

I loved “In The Midnight Hour” so I’m looking forward to “In Twilight’s Shadow”.

I love Patti OShea. I frequent her blog, stalking her like the fangirl I am. Like Jen, I loved In the Midnight Hour, so I can’t wait for this one. AND there’s another one coming. WOOT!
