I’m not ADD…really, I’m not. But when it comes to my reading…let’s just say I have….tendencies. Yeah…that’s a good word for it. I have ADD tendencies. I can’t help myself. Sometimes I pick up a book, then see another book…then another, and I just want to read them all. It all depends on how I feel when I’m in the mood to read. But all of a sudden, instead of having just one book on my nightstand, there are like…6.
Plus, at my school we’re doing this whole 25 Book Campaign (pledge to read 25 books by the end of the school year) with the students and the teachers have to do it too. And I’m like….you know…kinda competitive and I want to have the longest list beside my office door. Juvenile…I know. But, hey….I’m a librarian. I’m supposed to read the most books. Right? Right? Agree with me dangit. You’re all supposed to be my friends.
I’m already up to 11 for the school year (since September).
So, what’s on your nightstand?

Hey, make it a competition and I’m THERE! I know how it works
My nightstand isn’t nearly as exciting. I have my laptop, a journal, a bottle of water and Jennifer McKenzie’s Heart of the Storm. Finished reading it a long time ago, but gotta keep your friends close…or I’m lazy, one of the two.
