I outed myself this past week: I’m pregnant with child #4. (yay!)
Until the home test gave me a + however, I really just thought I was stressed. Tense. NERVOUS!
Because my book releases in 4 days, and my stomach’s been twisted in knots. I was waiting for contracts on the second book in this series (having papers makes it seem real. Besides, if I sign the contract, they can’t change their minds!)…and I figured: I’m terrified the first book won’t sell. I’m afraid people will read it and hate it.
Isn’t it nice to know I’m not worried at all about that? Instead, the gnawing in my stomach is the result of a growing baby. The fact I want to hurl when I realise release day is four days away…that’s just morning sickness.
It’s nice to be Zen-like about my career. About a book I’ve pinned a lot of hope and energy on…not to mention the 5-7 books which will follow in the series…
*deep breath*
This is me being totally calm.
But…just in case perhaps I have an attack of…forgetting this is all biologically based and not at all due to tension…
Any suggestions on how to fend off Release Anxiety?

I’d suggest alcohol, but considering your condition, that’s out. Um…deep breathing? Yoga?

Whoohoo!! Congratulations. I’m like Crystal…I’d suggest alcohol too, but…oh well. What about massage. Yeah! That’s it. Tell the hubby to give you a massage. LOL

I suggest a full body massage, maybe a foot massage. Also Yoga is very relaxing.
I’m very excited for you-on both counts
