Is that too much to ask for?? Apparently. I’m one of those lucky writers that has my own office. Not that you could tell by the steady stream of kids (the short and tall variety) in and out of here. Makes it damned hard to concentrate, especially writing sex scenes. Ugh. But! There’s light at the end of this summer break from hell tunnel. School goes back August 9! Woohoo! I think I’ll throw a party for one that day.
Despite all the craziness and mayhem at my house, I had a great week. I’m working on a revision and this week added 56 pages to it! I have another much shorter revision to get done that I’m going to try and have sent today or tomorrow. So how is everyone doing with the challenge? Post your updates in the comments!

   Sure wish I could shut the door. Unfortunately, school for my teen doesn’t go back until 20 August and the boys start preschool in September (2.5 hours two times a week sounds like sheer Heaven!!)

   I got a few pages revised on my stiletto entry (it COULD final!) I’ll have more done next week, or I give you permission to hurt me.

   Heh… I thought I was the only one who was counting the days to the first day of school.

   Be thankful yours is so soon… I have to wait until Aug 28. Lucky me…

   I actually got some peace and quiet work done yesterday and today. I took the kids to the boys and girls club and the baby was in daycare. It was wonderful.

   I got 50 pages done (25 on two different manuscripts). Trying to finish them both by August 1st. We’ll see.

   I dont have children-but I dont have an office either-My desk is in the living room right next to the front door-so I’m in the midst of heavy traffic I’m learning to ignore it.
