OK…I’ve been sitting here looking at a blinking cursur trying to decide what I want to blog about. And…seeing as it’s already really super duper late for me to be posting, well..in honor of Thursday Thirteen…I’ve come up with my Saturday Six. So, here goes!

Favorite Six Things About “Saturday”
1. Sleeping in….Even though it’s summer and I’m off from work and the kids are out of school, there are still reasons I have to get up early M-F…not the butt-crack “a” of dawn early, but still early. Today I got to sleep in. Even the baby slept in. It was wonderful. He must have known mommie needed it.

2. Birthday parties….Now, there’s a stipulation with this one. I didn’t have to drive them OR go to the party. THIS was absolutely awesome. They went with their neighbor. When they called to RSVP, she volunteered to drive them. Hey..you know me. I was like hell yes! LOL

3. Writing….Uninterrupted writing time. I don’t normally get this on a Saturday since usually “everyone” is at home. But because of the party, and the baby napping in the middle, I got some writing done. Color me
4. No Cooking….Normally, it’s Friday, but today, dinner was outsourced. Gotta love Pizza Hut. And that new Pizzone thingy is really good.

5. Less Than A Week….to the next and last Harry Potter book. This time next Saturday I’ll be nose deep in reading. I WILL be at the store at 12:01 a.m. next week to get my copy. Count on it!

6. Novelty Girls….today’s the last day of the RWA conference and Lori and Crystal will be home, hopefully both with good news. I KNOW Crystal has good news - I’ve read about it already and I am soooo happy for her. She so deserves it. So, here’s hoping we here about a contest win, agent/editor request, sale…or something. Plus, I’m sure there will be lots of funny stories and pics to share with everyone.
