That’s ’secret numb tongue talk’ for “Codeine for Kids”. For the record, people, DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME! I put a bit of the ‘cherry flavoured’ medication on my finger to taste. And my tongue went freaking numb. No wonder Tank didn’t take any of it…the stuff’s scary!
So instead, I dosed up on Ibuprofen again, a heatpack to ease the muscle, and freezies to keep my temperature down…and my ankle’s feeling slightly better, thank you! A heatwave has hit my part of Canada, sending temperatures around 90 degrees with 60% humidity and daily T-storm watches. So needless to say, I’m logging on here late at night, when it’s only about 88 degrees. :-s
I know you were all curious about our tarted up Gambling Novelty Girl…here’s the story in her own words:
Once when I was younger and broke in New Mexico, so broke I had five dollars for gas and enough left over for a soda, I needed to pay rent. What was I going to do? I was inches away from being tossed out on my ear. So I got dolled up and headed to the casino {this is not going where you think its going} and won that nights Grand Prize for the karaoke contest. Enough to pay rent, buy some groceries and fill my gas tank. Someone was looking out for me.

Ibuprofen is good; I like heat also but some say ice is better at the very first when you injure yourself and then heat after. Take care.
