I’m beginning to think I spend too much time online. How do I know this? We-ell. There’s little clues.
Like when I talk on the phone sometimes, and someone says something funny… I’ve caught myself from saying LOL. Saying, not typing. It makes no sense. Have you ever done that? Do you realize how nutty that is?
It’s like I’ll put down the computer and go play with my kid, but my gaze keeps drifting back to my laptop. What if I have an important email. Must finish that scene. Sometimes, if too much time passes, I think I might even start to shake. And the last couple months have been a little worse than usual.
Why? Because I wrote my first single title in almost two years. That’s right. I wrote an 83k book in about two months. And I am so freaking excited about it (Seriously the animations on my blog should give it away!) It’s a sci fi erotic romance. Now comes the obsession of getting it polished, critiqued and then sending it out! *Nail biting*
Anyway, bit of a tangent there, sorry about that. My point was… do you think we’re all a little bit too addicted to our computers? Or is it just me?

I’m definitely too addicted to being on line. With everything I do, I drift to the computer - just for a sec - to see if anything’s new. (It’s funny that you SAY LOL. LOL!)

Who me? I’m addicted I swear. I mean, it’s not like I spent time in the bar in Hawaii checking email or anything.

I used to be much worse about it but now it’s reached almost chore-like proportions which is why I’m usually not on the evenings (also see Crystals blog about children LOL that’s the other reason).

I am so incredibly addicted. I feel guilty if I dont have a Word doc opened. I always think if I’m away from my computer-thats when the email/exciting news/interesting IM is going to come. And I’m right. Sunday when I spent the day gardening-a really cool email came. LOL-

I’m on the computer before breakfast. I get jittery when I haven’t checked e-mail or RD in a couple of hours. I know it’s a sickness, but it beats cleaning house. LOL.
PS: I haven’t said LOL yet, but my daughter and I say O-M-G all the time.

*sigh* I”m an addict. I’m getting an office soon, and I”m hoping it’ll be enough to have the computer on a different floor, behind a closed door, to make me leave it alone during the day.
