Well…..It’s The Weekend

By Lyric James | March 18, 2007

And instead of writing and resting…I’m attending more parties. I woke up, cooked breakfast, cleaned up, washed clothes. Then, it was off to the party. And while I was there I remembered that I’d forgotten to post. I was like crap! So, I’m finally home now…for about five seconds, before I have to leave and go to my parents house to drop off my oldest because she wants to go to church with my mom in the morning.

Unfortunately, I have nothing interesting to post today. I’ve only written a little bit this week. I’ve been reading like mad. Books that have been sitting on my bookshelf and others that I bought at B&N on Monday. Every free moment I’ve had, I stuck my head in a book. I finished Silenced by Syrah by Michele Scott, For Better or Hearse by Laura Durham, and High Heels Are Murder by Elaine Viets. I’m currently reading Hell’s Belles by Jackie Kessler and Dearly Depotted by Kate Collins. Still to go are Better Read Than Dead by Victorie Laurie, To Love And To Perish by Laura Durham, Beyond Temptation by Brenda Jackson and Death By Inferior Design by Leslie Caine.

So, what have you been reading lately? Any suggestions?

Have a great weekend!
