So I was going to post about Monster Child #1’s birthday today, because she’s officially 11 now!! But it just makes me feel old so I’m going a different route lol.
I noticed this week on a another group blog they’ve been talking about their five fave paranormal and science fiction and otherwise cutting edge shows. I figured it would be a fun post. *g* BUT I can’t pick 5 so I’m going to list my faves on now and my faves no longer with us.
1. Supernatural. Omg. A non-writer friend got me hooked on this show and I’m never going back!
2. BSG. That’s Battlestar Gallactica for all you non-scfi geeks out there. This is one of the smartest shows on tv.
3. Jericho. What can I say? I love me some end of the world stories.
4. Heroes. Just awesome. But don’t miss a show ’cause you’ll be lost forever.
5a. Eureka. Crazy town. Crazy really really smart people. All good fun.
5b. Dr. Who. What’s not to love? But if Rose and the Doctor are not reunited this season, it may leave me behind. 
5c. Lost. One word. Sawyer.
Canceled shows…
1. The Pretender. Kinda scifi-ish. Of all the shows over all the years, this is the one I miss most.
2. Babylon 5. Great show, cool characters.
3. Farscape. It was weird, but that’s why I loved it.
4. American Gothic. You can never get too much of Gary Cole.
5. The Invisible Man. Vincent Ventresca. ‘Nuff said.
5b. Seven Days. Okay it was hokey and kinda silly, but I loved it anyway.
5c. The Profiler. Used to be on after The Pretender and lasted a little longer. A very cool show and who didn’t love the firehouse?
So. Obviously I can’t limit myself to five. What about y’all? Any fave off the wall shows?

The Pretender. I miss Jarod SO much. And I like the Profiler when Ally Walker was on it.
HEROES and Supernatural. Good call. You should try the Dresden Files.

Dresden files is fab! and you should try Jake 2.0 sci fi channel friday nights. It’s cute! It’s about a nerd who accidentally ends up with nano-bots in him and he’s got super powers.

Oooh…fun post. Let’s see. I miss Jared from the Pretender too. He was soo cute. I also watched the Profiler. And I’ll always miss Star Treck-TNG.
I absolutely love Heroes. I’ve watched Jericho - but don’t regularly and Eureka. I’ve never watched Supernatural…but I might watch it tonight since you say it’s so good.

um. Dude, you took all my shows!
ok. not all. But I’m glad American Gothic is up there: Someone’s knockin’ on the door. God I loved that show.
I love: The L Word, Dead like me, Six Feet Under, though I’m ridiculously behind on that one. CSI (all of them. I know. whatever.) I love the old Law and Order. Chris Noth may have been mr Big on Sex and the City, but he’s a hot detective. Mmmm.
Sadly, the most often watched show in my house is Dora the Explorer. And I have boys.

I don’t watch a lot of paranormal shows or anything. Hmm. Nope, can’t think of any. I did get addicted to Lost for awhile and made myself give it up because I hate being addicted to tv.

I’ll second cancelled show #5. I love Invisible Man and its cast! I love it so much that I’m developing a new film starring the I-Man cast.
