Okay, so Im totally stealing Dayna’s title from yesterday. The simple fact of the matter is that I’ve been sitting in my hubby’s comfortable Lazy Boy chair stairing at the computer trying to figure out what the heck I was going to write about today. Sooo, I decided I’d review my week. *snicker*
First things first, I completed one of WIP’s this week: a novel called Thoroughly Tempted that I plan to sub to Samhain. I also realized how much I really like Cobblestone Press because they don’t ask for the dreaded synopsis or the query letter like other pubs do. Of course, I know I need to get used to writing the Q&S if I want to pub to NY one day. So, I’m diligently working on the synop (finished the query already) so I can send it in by the end of next week.
Next, I’m again trying my hand at paranormal. This story is about a thief heroine who robs the wrong house at the wrong time and witnesses something that makes her re-think her chosen profession. Also, I’m working on another story that’s going to be an anthology project with three other authors. Am I busy enough? I think so. LOL
With these projects I’m also trying to write longer. I think Shelli mentioned in an earlier post that she thinks of herself as the short-story queen. Well, I’m right there in the carriage with her. I’m going for novella length - somewhere between 20-30 thousand. Like Dayna, I’m taking baby steps.
So, since I shared what’s going on in my writing life. Tell me about yours. What’s your current WIP?
Have a great weekend!

I’m working on an erotic sci fi. It’s totally new and a lot of fun for me.
Congrats on finishing and good luck on your submission to Samhain!
