like really freaking cold. My inner beach bunny can’t handle it, I tell ya. We’re seriously thinking about moving farther south, but really you can’t do that and still be in the South. I promise not to vent about Florida. *evil grin*
I really hate winter. That’s why I live way down here in hurricane country on the Gulf Coast. Nine months of 80 degree plus weather baby. That’s a lot of heat and that’s good for me cause I HATE to be cold. I love the sun, the long days, the heat, hell even the humidity. And I’m productive during those months. Winter (such as it is here)? Eh. Winter sucks ass. I see all these writer’s talking about holing up somewhere and writing away when it snows. That just amazes me. These short winter days roll around, gloomy or sunny, and I just want to sleep all day.
I’ll be so glad when February is over and the days start getting longer and warmer again. Even better when it’s July and hot enough to bake the skin off your bones. I’ve haven’t been warm in weeks and enough is enough already lol!
So what about y’all? Like winter or summer? Have you noticed you’re more or less productive in a particular season or is that just my own personal weirdness?

I love winter. I love putting on sweaters and boots and being snuggly. I love going outside and having the cold air hit your lungs, while being bundled up. Yum. I really can’t deal with the heat. Once it gets over 80 degrees, I lock myself inside with the curtains drawn. I don’t notice my writing is different in any season though.

I’m less productive in the spring, when I can get out to my garden. Summer…I hide during the heat of the day and hang outside at night or in the early morning. winter…winter we’re inside all the time. But I’m not really an outdoorsy person, garden notwithstanding…I bring a book outside and curl up with it once the weeds are taken care of

I HATE winter. Hate it. And you’d be freaking amazed by how few places you can live in the US that does NOT snow in winter. It’s horrible.
And I don’t have a problem with productivity. I tend to crank out the same number of pages no matter what the season.
